Who am I?

I am a 22 year old college student enjoying learning about what all life has in store for me. I was born in Colorado Springs and have lived most of my life in the mountains (hints the name “Mountain Dude Photography”). From a very young age, I was fascinated with photography and all the possibilities it offered. Being located just west of Pikes Peak my admiration for nature has greatly impacted my life and my photos. Moving to Kansas for college this appreciation developed further. Now the beauty found in towering mountains was hidden in small meadows, golden stocks of wheat, endless gravel roads, seasonal beauty unknown to Colorado, and the faces of those around me. As I began to take more portraits I saw the vulnerability a photo can bring as well as the captivating beauty. This has strengthened my respect and care in taking pictures of all kinds.

Currently I am blessed to be the media coordinator for Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp and professional photographer for Bethel College. I plan to continue improving my skills and trying new things!

I have a true love for photography and it’s power to capture all aspects of life as we experience it. I experience this same love for people from all walks of life.
